A few years back, I completely bombed a big project at work. I overpromised, underestimated the scope, and ended up delivering late with half-baked results. It shook me hard and I felt like I'd let the team down and questioned if I was really cut out for the pressure. It taught me that I'm not invincible, and that my discipline shines more in prevention than recovery. Now I'm way better at saying no, breaking things down early, and over-communicating. That failure made me more reliable, honestly.
